About us

Quantum-Systems GmbH, founded in Munich in 2015, specializes in the in-house development, design, and production of small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Our drones combine long reach and electrical efficiency with the ability to vertically take off and land (VTOL) without additional equipment. We continuously integrate high precision sensors into our systems for increased aerial data intelligence. This way we transform decision making processes for the professional user in the commercial and governmental sector.

For the extension of our team in Gilching near Munich we are searching for a Sales Manager Governmental Systems (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Buildung strategic alliances with key stakeholders in the governmental/military sector for an ideal placing of our product Vector/Scorpion
  • Sales and business development through e-mail campaigns, cold calling, active networking and presentations 
  • Participation at demo days and flight demos/trials for potential customers, presence at military and other governmental fairs, networking with customers, contractors, agents and resellers
  • Supporting the marketing team with “view from the customer perspective” to produce high-quality marketing material
  • Thorough screening of national and international tendering platforms for relevant tenders
  • First contact point for all sales-related questions from costumers and business partners
  • Active marketing and competition monitoring
  • Planning and conducting relevant sales promotions, e.g. flight demos
  • Sales forecasting and pro-active opportunity management, CRM
  • Generating a sales pipeline and achieving sales targets

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the governmental sector (e.g. military, police, international organizations, NATO)
  • Excellent presentation skills and serious, professional appearance
  • Proven negotiation skills with defense contractors and governmental procurement entities
  • Ability to master RFI and RFP responses and compose a competitive proposal
  • Ability to compose and lead bid teams
  • Hands-on approach in all phases of the sales process 
  • Desire to win tenders, conclude deals and drive the sales pipeline
  • Ability to organize and lead customer events, hold presentations and represent the company at exhibitions
  • Fluency in English, preferably also French and Spanish, every other language a strong asset 
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
  • A plus: Existing network within the European and international defense procurement community
