Embedded Systems Engineer / Developer (m/f/d)

Quantum-Systems is an international company that specializes in the development, design, and production of advanced multi-sensor unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that collect aerial intelligence for commercial customers and government agencies. All relevant system components such as the aircraft, autopilot, sensor integration and planning software are developed in-house.

To support our R&D Division, we are now looking for an

Embedded Systems Engineer / Developer (m/f/d)

• Implementation and maintenance of RTOS tasks of the autopilot
• Health monitoring of the RTOS tasks / stacks and CPU time
• Conception, implementation and design of new autopilot functions
• Maintenance and optimization of firmware build toolchain and firmware management
• Implementation, maintenance and optimization of BSP/peripheral and external sensor drivers
• Implementation and monitoring of communication standards for guidance (MAVLink, RAS-A, STANAG4586)
• Debugging / Tracing of code base for code-coverage / functionality testing
• Conception, design and implementation of an automated testing rig / framework for components / subsystems

• Where you come from: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering / embedded software development.
• Your experience: Knowledge about embedded real time operating systems. Experience in programming and testing embedded systems. Experience in handling embedded systems, ARM microcontrollers, debuggers and logic analyzers.
• Your skills: Fluent C / C++ programming around functionalities / tasks of a real time operating system. Skilled development and debugging of real-time embedded systems. Understanding of software architectures and software modularization.
