Quantum-Systems is an international company that specializes in the development, design, and production of advanced multi-sensor unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that collect aerial intelligence for commercial customers and government agencies. All relevant system components such as the aircraft, autopilot, sensor integration and planning software are developed in-house.
One of our most important future topics is the Drone Port, which enables the automatic take-off, landing, storage and recharging of unmanned aerial vehicles with the support of a robot arm.

Systems Engineer Drone Port (m/f/d)
About the role:
You are responsible for the production-ready design and documentation of mechanical and electronic components for the Quantum-Systems Drone Port and support us in bringing the Drone Port prototype to product maturity. Your tasks include:
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) using CATIA
- Input of components into our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool
- Integration and (flight) testing of mechanical and electronic components
- Printed circuit board design, microcontroller programming, system testing and verification
Your profile:
- Where you come from: You have a finished university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or aerospace engineering.
- Your Experience: You have experience in the field of construction and have already accompanied products from the prototype stage to commercialisation. You have very good knowledge of CAD, PCB design, microcontroller programming, as well as mechanical and electronic integration.
- Your passion: You are interested in UAV, aviation and robotics.
- We like to learn new things: You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility independently.
- We like to work together: Due to your open, communicative, friendly and competent attitude, it is easy for you to be considered as an internal expert by your colleagues.
