Head of Governmental Sales (m/f/d)

Quantum-Systems is an international company that specializes in the development, design, and production of advanced multi-sensor unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that collect aerial intelligence for commercial customers and government agencies. All relevant system components such as the aircraft, autopilot, sensor integration and planning software are developed in-house.

To support our Sales Team in Gilching, near Munich, we are now looking for a

 Head of Governmental Sales (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Leadership and management of the international governmental sales, bid & proposal team
  • Leverage market knowledge to implement governmental sales strategy for development of Sector Business Plans and development of win strategies
  • Develop relationships in the Governmental/Military sector to identify further opportunities for governmental sales growth
  • Strategic cold calling throughout Mail campaigns, Demo Days / Authority Showings, Presence at BOS/Military/Governmental fairs and networking with contractors and procurers
  • Lead market analysis, competitors’ analysis, benchmarking analysis
  • Planning and conducting of all relevant sales-promoting measures with the governmental sales team e.g., flight demos
  • Generating the sales pipeline and achieving sales targets

Your profile:

  • 8 years sales experience in the governmental sector (e.g., defense, military, police, international organizations, NATO)
  • Existing network within the European and international defense procurement community
  • Proven leadership experience and a skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales staff to exceed targeted sales objectives
  • Skills with defense contractors and governmental procurement entities
  • Product and market knowledge in areas of interest to Military Aerospace and understanding of global governmental/military UAV market
  • Strong communication skills, particularly regarding motivation and presentation skills to multiple levels.
  • Proactive and goal-oriented self-starter, with the ability to work independently with little supervision
