Working Student AI/Computer Vision (m/f/d)

As a working student in the department Computer Vision, you will be a key part of our AI/Computer Vision team to develop advanced algorithms for image processing and object detection. Together with our World-Class-Team, currently eight team members, you will take an empowering role: pushing the boundaries of drone technologies.

You will work closely with stakeholders from the Embedded Systems, Navigation, and System Test departments to improve the integration and optimization of our algorithms for the drone platform. With advancing drone capabilities through cutting-edge computer vision and AI technologies, you will support Quantum Systems' mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Integration of new AI algorithms (e.g. Object detection) onto our Jetson based embedded platform
• Development of sensor control features (e.g. automatic scanning)
• Implementation of data flows on the air and between air and ground
• Enhance the drone's navigational and perceptual capabilities

What you bring to the team:

• You live in Munich or the surrounding area and are willing to work on-site

• You are studying computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or similar.

• You are experienced in C++, GNSS data formats (Rinex) and GIS-Coordinate systems.
• You have Embedded Linux experience, optional C# skills.
• Due to your open, communicative, friendly and competent attitude, it is easy for you to be considered as an internal expert.
• You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility independently.
• Communication in English is a matter of course for you.
