We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Electronics and Testing Technician to join our engineering team. This hands-on role is critical to the development and validation of our next-generation electronic components and battery systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at both intricate electronics work and practical mechanical assembly, playing a key role in bringing prototypes from design to reality.


What is your Day-to-Day Mission:

Electronics Prototyping and Rework:

●       Perform high-quality soldering (SMT and through-hole) for circuit board assembly, modification, and rework.

●       Design and build custom wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and test fixtures.

●       Assemble and integrate electronic components into functional prototypes.

Test Setup Development:

●       Build, wire, and maintain complex test setups and validation rigs for battery management systems (BMS), sensors, and power electronics.

●       Integrate and calibrate various sensors (e.g., temperature, current, voltage) into test environments.

●       Assemble mechanical components and enclosures to complete test setups.

Mechanical and Assembly Tasks:

●       Utilize and maintain 3D printing equipment for creating custom jigs, fixtures, and prototype parts.

●       Perform general mechanical assembly tasks, including drilling, tapping, and fitting components.

●       Handle and apply various adhesives and potting compounds correctly for electronic and mechanical assemblies.

Battery System Assembly:

●       Assist in the assembly of small-scale battery prototypes and test modules, focusing on precision and safety protocols.

Documentation and Maintenance:

●       Maintain an organized and safe lab environment, including inventory of components and tools.

●       Document assembly procedures, build logs, and modifications clearly and accurately


What you bring to the team:

  • Proven experience as an Electronics Technician, Test Technician, or similar role.

  • Expert-level soldering skills (SMT and through-hole rework) and experience building custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies.

  • Solid practical knowledge of electronics, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams.

  • Demonstrated experience with sensor integration and calibration.

  • Hands-on experience with general mechanical tasks, including component assembly and using basic shop tools.

  • Experience operating and maintaining 3D printers (e.g., FDM, SLA) and processing printed parts.

  • Experience with adhesive handling and best practices for bonding materials and potting electronics.

  • Familiarity with the assembly and safe handling of Lithium-Ion battery systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

     Bonus Skills

    Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and data loggers.

    Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Arduino) for data acquisition or simple test automation.

    Familiarity with high-voltage or high-power electronics systems.
