Join EFT Mobility at a pivotal time as we revolutionize the future of electric transport, focusing on cutting-edge Electric Powertrain (EFT) solutions for high-reliability applications, including UAV power systems. We are a fast-growing, dynamic company where every engineer plays a direct, hands-on role in bringing our innovative, safety-critical products to life. If you thrive on ensuring product quality and solving complex, real-world problems, we want you on our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled, execution-driven and hands-on Senior Industrialisation Engineer to bridge the gap between R&D and mass manufacturing for our battery packs and charger product lines.

In this role, your primary focus will be the electro-mechanical process steps and optimizations required to transform a functional prototype into a robust, high-yield, and highly scalable series product. You will take ownership of the product lifecycle immediately following the initial prototype build phase. Collaborating closely with our external Contract Manufacturers (CMs), you will co-architect the manufacturing lines, advise on critical assembly fixtures, and pave the way for a production ramp-up from pre-series batches into stable mass production.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Review designs directly following R&D prototype runs to actively catch and eliminate mechanical tolerance stack-ups and assembly risks before tooling begins.

  • Optimise the design, sourcing, and validation of mechanical assembly jigs, cell-alignment fixtures, glueing fixtures, laser-welding beds to optimize line repeatability and operator safety.

  • Collaborate regularly with Contract Manufacturers to optimise and release assembly line setups, resolve technical build bottlenecks, and transition pilot runs into high-yield mass production.

  • Conduct hands-on Design of Experiments in the lab and factory floor to establish locked-in process windows for automated gluing, thermal interface material (TIM) dispensing, and torque specs.

  • Co-Own build failures together with the contract manufacturer to rapidly drive engineering adjustments and optimize first-pass yields. Page: 1/3

  • Oversee the EoL failures, analyse them and implement solutions to improve yield.

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience as an Industrialization, Manufacturing, or NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer, specifically driving the scale-up (upto 10-30k units) of battery modules/packs, power electronics enclosures, or high-reliability electromechanical systems.

  • Technical Skills: Highly skilled in (mechanical) production processes, experience with failure analysis and production methods in a semi-automised production environment.

  • Hands-on Workshop Mentality: A deeply practical engineer who thrives on the shop floor or in the prototype lab. You have no hesitation when it comes to standing at the line, personally assembling a battery module to understand a build bottleneck, or physically tearing down hardware to isolate a defect.

  • Design Review & CAD Interpretation: Strong ability to navigate, interpret, and evaluate 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.

  • Communication: Strong ability to translate technical failure data intoactionable engineering changes.

  • Project Management & CM Governance: Strong capability to coordinate complex technical tasks across internal engineering design teams and external contract manufacturers, with the technical confidence to regularly audit and challenge the work of the CM's internal industrialization teams

Your Benefits:

  • Direct impact: See your contributions rapidly integrated from cutting-edge research into industrialized products, flying in the field within short development cycles.

  • Culture & Environment: A dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative startup environment with flat hierarchies, efficient collaboration, and a strong emphasis on continuous learning opportunities.

  • Work-life Balance: We offer flexible work schedules, and 30 days of paid vacation each year to support your personal and professional life.

  • Lunch Benefit: We promote healthy eating and the well-being of our employees with a monthly lunch budget.

  • Mobility Benefit: With our mobility budget, we pay your “Germany Ticket” for work or personal use monthly.

  • Health & Wellness: We support your physical well-being with a company-subsidized eGym Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms and sports facilities.

  • Language Courses: German isn’t your mother tongue? We sponsor German courses for you to quickly learn and integrate even more.
