As a Boat Builder (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the assembly, maintenance, and continuous improvement of innovative unmanned maritime platforms, helping deliver reliable solutions for demanding operational environments.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Build, assemble, and integrate hulls, structural components, and maritime platform systems according to technical drawings and specifications.
Perform fitting, bonding, laminating, and finishing work on composite, metal, and other marine materials.
Install and support the integration of mechanical and electromechanical components within autonomous maritime platforms.
Conduct inspections, functional checks, and quality assurance activities throughout the production process.
Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues and contribute to continuous product improvements.
Work closely with engineering, production, and testing teams to ensure high-quality and reliable platform performance.
Support prototype builds, system upgrades, and maintenance activities for existing maritime systems.
Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
What you bring to the team:
Completed vocational training as a Boat Builder, Shipwright, Composite Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.
Practical experience in boat building, shipbuilding, composite manufacturing, or related maritime production environments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
Hands-on skills in laminating, assembly, fitting, finishing, and repair work.
Strong quality awareness and a structured, reliable working style.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
High level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ownership of your work.
Interest in innovative technologies and autonomous maritime systems.
Good communication skills in German; English skills are an advantage.
