As Head of HR Operations, you take full ownership of our HR operations setup and ensure that processes, standards, systems, and governance function as a reliable backbone for the organization — today and in view of our next growth stages.


What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • HR Operations & Service Delivery:
    You oversee core HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle, with clear end-to-end ownership, pragmatic decision-making structures, and defined service levels. You standardize contract and documentation frameworks and bring structure to processes — moving from individual solutions to scalable standards.

  • Team & Collaboration:
    You lead and further develop our HR Operations team, sharpen roles and ways of working, and establish a solution- and results-oriented delivery culture.

  • Compensation & Benefits:
    You own governance of our C&B topics and work closely with Finance and HR Business Partners to ensure consistent and reliable decision-making foundations.

  • Performance & People Processes:
    You support the development of pragmatic structures around performance and people processes in close collaboration with leaders and HRBPs.

  • HR Systems & Analytics:
    You evaluate and further develop our HR systems landscape, driving a scalable, international, and multilingual HRIS — including a clean data model, role and permission structures, and system interfaces. You build robust people reporting from scratch (e.g., headcount, attrition, hiring funnel, cost/comp) and define KPIs suitable for C-level reporting.

  • Governance, Compliance & Audit Readiness:
    You further develop HR policies, decision frameworks, and compliance structures — ensuring audit-proof, cross-location consistency in close alignment with Legal and Finance.


What you bring to the team:

  • Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or in a comparable role, ideally within a start-up or scale-up environment, with a strong passion for innovative HR topics.

  • Proven experience in HR Operations, ideally within high-growth or complex organizations.

  • A hands-on track record of implementing HR processes and projects — not just designing them.

  • Strong HRIS and data expertise, including experience building people reporting and KPIs or further developing an internationally scalable HRIS.

  • Practical experience standardizing HR processes, contracts, and policy frameworks, with the ability to establish scalable governance structures.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels, combining execution strength with a structured and pragmatic working style.

  • Fluency in both German and English.
