
As a Junior FP&A Controller, you will support the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis processes. You will work closely with senior team members and gain hands-on experience across all core FP&A activities.
This role is designed as a development position, giving you exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance tracking, while building a strong foundation in financial analysis and business partnering.
You will contribute to ensuring data quality, supporting reporting and planning processes, and helping translate business performance into financial insights.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Financial Planning & Forecasting Support
Support the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
Assist in maintaining the rolling forecast, including data collection and validation
Help prepare inputs for mid-term planning and scenario analyses
Support financial modelling and analysis tasks
Operational Performance Tracking
Assist in tracking key financial and operational KPIs on a regular basis
Support the preparation of weekly KPI updates and performance overviews
Help identify variances and support initial analysis of trends and deviations
Contribute to ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reports
Analysis & Reporting Support
Support ad-hoc analyses and deep-dives into business performance
Prepare data and slides for management presentations
Assist in translating data into structured outputs and summaries
Learn how to derive insights and contribute to financial storytelling
Data, Tools & Processes
Work with planning tools (e.g. Anaplan) and support data maintenance
Assist in improving and standardising FP&A processes
Support automation and data quality initiatives
Ensure alignment between FP&A data, BI systems, and ERP
You Should Apply If you:
Have 1–3 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Finance, or a related field (or strong internships)
Have a solid foundation in finance, accounting, or business administration
Are highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
Have strong Excel skills; experience with planning tools (e.g. Anaplan) is a plus
Are eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
Have good communication skills and enjoy working with different stakeholders
Are fluent in English and German
Nice to Have
First experience with financial modelling or forecasting
Exposure to BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Basic knowledge of data tools (e.g. SQL)
Internship experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Consulting
