As Lead HR Business Partner (m/f/d), you will actively shape the development of our HR Business Partnering function at Quantum-Systems — establishing clear standards, driving strong business impact, and building a team that meaningfully supports and enables our leaders.

In addition to leading the overall HRBP setup, you will personally take on HRBP responsibility for selected business areas — staying close to the business, visible in execution, and setting a clear benchmark for quality and impact.


What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • HRBP Leadership & Team Build-Up: You build and lead the HR Business Partner team (disciplinary and functional leadership), establishing clear standards and an effective operating model.

  • Role Model as HRBP: In addition to your leadership role, you support selected business areas directly and set the quality benchmark for advisory and execution.

  • Business Sparring: You act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent, performance, and change topics.

  • Employee Relations: You manage complex cases (e.g., conflicts, low performance, terminations) in a structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way in close alignment with HR Operations and Legal.

  • Strategic HR Partnering: You translate business goals into concrete people initiatives and drive execution together with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development.

  • Operating Model & Interfaces: You ensure clear accountabilities and effective HR interfaces, enabling HRBPs to focus on true strategic business partnering.

  • People Insights & Prioritization: You leverage HR data and insights to support decision-making and proactively steer priorities and team capacity.


What you bring to the team:

  • Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex organization or dynamic scale-up/transformation environment.

  • Experience in functional and/or disciplinary leadership of HR professionals, ideally including building a team.

  • Strong expertise in core HR processes (performance management, talent & succession planning, compensation) and in advising senior leaders.

  • Proven experience handling sensitive employee relations and performance cases in a structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented manner.

  • Mandatory experience in international business environments (English-speaking workplace, cross-location/cross-country collaboration, ideally matrix structures).

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — clear, credible, and effective across all levels.

  • Fluency in both German and English.
