Senior Quality Control & Supplier Quality Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Senior Quality Control & Supplier Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring and continuously improving our supplier quality across the entire supply chain. You will work closely with internal teams as well as international suppliers, identify quality risks at an early stage, and drive sustainable improvement measures.

Your contribution ensures that our UAVs can be deployed worldwide with reliability, precision, and high performance — thereby helping to secure Quantum-Systems’ technological leadership.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Carrying out incoming goods inspections as well as sample-based outgoing goods inspections based on technical drawings and specifications

• Establishing, maintaining, and further developing inspection and documentation processes (digital and standardized)

• Creating, tracking, and escalating complaints/non-conformities (8D, NCRs) in close coordination with suppliers

• Analyzing root causes and deriving as well as tracking sustainable corrective and preventive actions

• Developing and monitoring supplier KPIs to evaluate and improve performance

• Actively contributing to supplier development (e.g. audits, reviews, improvement programs)

• Working closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Production to ensure preventive quality assurance

What you bring to the team:

• Completed technical training or education (e.g. aerospace, mechatronics, materials engineering, model making, or similar)

• Several years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on supplier management / supplier quality

• Solid knowledge of complaint management (e.g. 8D), root cause analysis, and quality methods (Core Tools)

• Experience working with technical drawings, specifications, and inspection processes

• Strong quality mindset as well as a structured and independent way of working

• Strong communication skills and assertiveness in dealing with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

• An affinity for UAVs and aerospace technology is an advantage

• Very good German and English skills
