As a Training Operations Manager, you will be a key function within our Demo & Training Team and ensure the smooth coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of our training programs and demo events. Working alongside our world-class team, you will not only support daily operations but actively shape how we scale and optimize our training setup.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from Repair, Support, Production, Fulfilment, Software Engineering, and Marketing to deliver world-class trainings and outstanding demos. Beyond coordination, you will drive operational excellence by defining standards, improving processes, and managing internal initiatives to support Quantum Systems in becoming the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Administrative & Organizational Support - Manage calendars, documents, reports, and onboarding processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Operational Coordination - Plan and execute UAV training events and demos, handle logistics, and maintain flight and training schedules.
Process & Operations Development - Define and implement scalable standards for training and demo operations. Identify improvement areas, optimize workflows, and support the automation of existing processes.
Project & Stakeholder Management - Drive internal projects, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and act as an interface between multiple departments and stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance - Maintain certifications, flight logs, and support audits and inspections in line with aviation and regulatory standards.
Inventory & Asset Management - Track UAV equipment and parts, coordinate repairs, and ensure availability of assets for training and demos.
Customer, Partner & Team Support - Coordinate training participants, support partner onboarding and collaboration, and ensure seamless event preparation and execution.
Documentation & Reporting - Prepare presentations, training materials, process documentation, and compliance records.
What you bring to the team:
You have completed vocational training in a commercial, administrative, or operational field (e.g. office management, administration) or have equivalent practical experience.
You bring at least 1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, training management, or a comparable role.
You have a strong interest in process optimization, operational excellence, and improving how things work.
You are structured, solution-oriented, and take ownership of topics, driving them forward independently.
You enjoy working across teams, coordinating stakeholders, and managing multiple topics in parallel.
You have first experience with process documentation, project management, and tools such as Jira/Confluence or similar systems.
Your open, communicative, and confident manner allows you to quickly establish yourself as a trusted internal point of contact.
Fluent communication in German and English is a matter of course for you.
This position requires a predominant activity on site in Gilching, as the support of our training and demo systems as well as the equipment can only be carried out directly at the site.
