As a Bid & Proposal Manager, you will play a key role within our sales team, managing international projects in the sales department. As part of our world-class team, currently consisting of five members, you will contribute significantly to pushing the boundaries of drone technology.
You will work closely with stakeholders across all departments to ensure the success of our drone sales and contracts. With your strong sales-driven mindset, you will support Quantum-Systems in its mission to establish unmanned aerial systems (sUAV) as the benchmark for airborne data collection solutions.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Manage bid and proposal processes, including preparing all necessary documents such as compliance matrices, calculations, and technical requirements.
Coordinate internal approvals to ensure timely and well-prepared proposal submissions.
Assess and qualify tenders (complexity analysis, technical/commercial risks) while aligning proposal content with our R&D Department and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Monitor RFPs/RFIs and manage procurement platforms.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer relationship management.
Analyze and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide strategic recommendations to top management.
Support product and project managers in market entry strategies, project execution, and business case development.
What you bring to the team:
Your background: You have a degree in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
Your experience: You have several years of experience in technical sales, project management, or order processing, preferably in the aerospace sector.
Your expertise: You are highly knowledgeable in procurement and bidding processes within B2G and B2B environments.
Your passion: You have a strong interest in eVTOLs/drones for military and governmental applications.
Your drive: You are highly self-motivated and take initiative in driving your area of responsibility.
Your communication skills: You are fluent in German and English and enjoy working in an international team.
Your teamwork: You have an open, communicative, and professional approach, making it easy for colleagues to recognize you as an internal expert.
