Director Sales (m/f/d)

As Director Sales, you will play a key role in establishing and expanding Quantum-Systems S.R.L. in Romania. Your focus will be on market development, building operational structures, and coordinating strategic business processes.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across various areas to ensure the successful execution of projects. With your strong organizational skills, you will support Quantum Systems’ mission to establish unmanned aerial systems (sUAVs) as the benchmark for airborne data collection solutions.

What is your Day-to-Day mission:

• Support the establishment of the operational readiness of Quantum-Systems S.R.L., including acquiring essential operational and import licenses, certifications, and relevant documentation.
• Prepare and submit documents to ensure compliance with Romanian offset regulations.
• Track the implementation of offset transactions and coordinate with Romanian industrial partners.
• Coordinate training activities, including securing airspace permissions and obtaining required aircraft licenses.
• Support the implementation of all acceptance, reception testing, and evaluation activities.
• Coordinate the delivery of UAS systems to end-users.
• Work closely with Romanian customs authorities and logistics partners to optimize import procedures for UAS components and related technologies.
• Manage key Romanian stakeholders, particularly Romtehnica and ARCTIS.
• Analyze the Romanian market and identify future business opportunities.

What you bring to the team:

• A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in sales, business development, or corporate development, ideally in the defense, aerospace, or technology sector.
• Solid knowledge of Romanian offset regulations and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Experience in working with government authorities, industry partners, and international stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Romanian; German is a plus.
• High level of self-responsibility, entrepreneurial thinking, and intercultural competence.
