Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

As a Financial Accountant, you will take on a key role within our Finance Team and be responsible for accounts payable as well as financial reporting and statement preparation.
Together with our world-class team of currently 8 members, you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.
You will work closely with stakeholders from Controlling, HR, and Operations to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.
By driving stable financial processes and transparency, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to set the standard for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAVs).

What is your Day-to-Day Mission:

• Independent processing of ongoing accounts payable accounting

• Reviewing, posting, and settling travel expense claims

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS

• Supporting tax-related tasks (e.g. VAT returns)

• Acting as a backup for payroll processing

• Preparing reports, statistics, and analyses for management and authorities

• Contributing to the improvement of internal processes and systems

What you bring to the team:

• Successfully completed commercial training (e.g. tax clerk, industrial clerk) or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/controlling

• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with knowledge of HGB and IFRS

• Initial experience with travel expense accounting is desirable

• Basic knowledge of payroll accounting is an advantage

• Confident handling of common ERP systems and very good Excel skills

• Structured, precise, and solution-oriented working style

• A team player with a hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for varied tasks
