Head of Production (m/f/d)

As Head of Production (m/f/d) you will be responsible for a growing division with currently 35 employees, consisting of several world-class teams. As a leader of leaders, you will have a key role in organizational development to push the boundaries of drone technology.

You will report directly to C-level management and will work closely with stakeholders from across the business to ensure the smooth running of production. You will be given responsibility and great freedom to shape your growing business unit from day one and become part of an outstanding international team.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of a growing number of teams consisting of Production, Production Engineering and Repair & Maintenance.
• Responsibility for the development, motivation and promotion of your direct and indirect employees.
• Responsibility for the development and implementation of sustainable and innovative production processes as well as the development of additional production capacities in a strong growth phase.
• Responsibility for production processes, test procedures and quality control during series production in close cooperation with R&D.
• Coordinating an efficient material flow and ensuring and optimizing the basic operating processes in the production area.
• Ensuring high quality standards and safety at work as well as appropriate qualifications and awareness among employees.
• Responsibility for the timely and high-quality production and assembly of complex unmanned aerial systems.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a technical or business degree or have completed professional training.

• You have several years of professional experience as a manager in a production environment.

• Entrepreneurial, strategic thinking & acting is second nature to you.

• You are able to manage several interdisciplinary teams transparently and independently.

• You keep an overview in complex situations and make goal-oriented decisions.

• You like to think outside the box and recognize potential in structures and processes.

• You are highly committed, a strong communicator and persistent.

• You love to work in a structured way and are interested in drones or aerospace.

• Six Sigma, Lean Management, or similar qualifications and experience are a plus.

• Communication in German and English is taken for granted.
