Legal Counsel (m/f/d) part-time

As a Legal & Compliance specialist part-time, you will play a key role in our company and be the central point of contact for contractual and compliance issues. With our team, you will fulfil a key function to streamline internal processes and safeguard business decisions.

Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders from Finance, Sales, Risk Management, HR and IT to ensure our contract and compliance processes run smoothly and efficiently. With your expertise, you will support our company in minimising legal risks and ensuring compliance. The work you do will help Quantum Systems on its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Key contact person for legal issues within the company.
• Providing legal advice and support to internal stakeholders.
• Managing and improving contracts in all areas of the company.
• Conducting plausibility checks.
• Administration and implementation of contract templates as well as assistance in negotiating specific content in NDAs, terms and conditions and similar amendments.
• Carrying out compliance checks on contract content, e.g. from investment rounds or customer contracts.
• Independent risk assessment and reporting to the senior management team.
• Collaborating with various departments to create and update company guidelines.
• Providing internal training on legal and compliance topics.
• Ensuring the global compliance of the corporate group by continuously monitoring the requirements in all sub-areas.
• Ensuring appropriate documentation and storage of all legal documents and contracts.
• Identifying and assessing legal risks and developing strategies to minimize them.
• Assessment of the necessity and cost-effectiveness of external legal advice.
• Coordination and cooperation with external law firms in complex legal matters.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a degree / completed professional education in the field of business law or have a comparable qualification.
• You already have at least 2 years of professional experience in legal practice or a comparable position as a corporate counsel.
• You are interested in commercial and IT law.
• Your open, communicative, very friendly and competent manner makes it easy for you to be seen as an internal expert.
• You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility forward independently.
• Communication in English is a matter of course for you.
