About the Job

Our Company is actively developing its R&D team, and the Prototyping Technician position is one of the key roles within the newly established unit. We are looking for an expert with hands-on experience in assembling unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) prototypes who is eager to contribute to the development of modern technologies that bring Ukraine’s Victory closer. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who: 

  • Has practical experience assembling UAVs of various configurations, mainly fixed-wing; 

  • Wants to participate in creating and testing new product samples; 

  • Aims to grow within a team that develops advanced solutions for the defense sector. 

  

What is your Day to Day Mission 

  • Assemble UAV prototypes manually according to technical documentation and the instructions provided by the Prototyping Engineer; 

  • Mount, connect, and verify the functionality of electronic components (autopilots, communication modules, power systems, navigation systems, sensors, etc.); 

  • Participate in prototype testing, record results, and assist in data collection and analysis; 

  • Perform minor repairs, component replacements, or adjustments during testing and refinement stages; 

  • Suggest improvements to assembly processes or prototype design when opportunities for optimization are identified; 

  • Support prototype preparation for further testing stages or transition to pilot or serial production. 

What you bring to the team 

  • Practical experience assembling UAVs or other unmanned systems (minimum 2 years); 

  • Understanding of UAV structure and key subsystems (power, control, communication, navigation, etc.); 

  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and assembly guides; 

  • Skills in soldering, wiring, and verifying electronic components; 

  • Basic experience configuring flight controllers (Ardupilot, PX4, or similar) — a strong advantage; 

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to work independently and as part of a team; 

  • Responsibility for meeting deadlines and achieving results; 

  • Fluency in spoken Ukrainian and technical English at B2 level or higher.
