As an RF System Engineer, you will be a key part of our Radar Technology team to drive the development of cutting-edge miniaturized radar systems. Together with our World-Class-Team, currently 4 team members, you will take an empowering role: pushing the boundaries of drone technologies.

You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Engineering and Product Development departments to design, simulate, and optimize RF printed circuit boards and broadband antennas operating above 10 GHz. Your mission will have a powerful impact: enhancing Quantum-Systems’ radar capabilities through precision engineering and innovation.

What is your Day-to-Day Mission:

  • Design, development, and optimization of RF printed circuit boards (PCBs) for miniaturized radar systems

  • Execution of simulations and measurements for performance evaluation and fault analysis of RF boards

  • Design, simulation, and optimization of broadband antennas operating above 10 GHz

  • Selection and measurement-based verification of active and passive RF components

  • Collaboration with internal and external teams to define specifications and qualify radar components

  • Creation of technical documentation and detailed reports

What you bring to the team:

  • University degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, RF engineering, or a related field

  • Several years of professional experience (at least 3–5 years) in RF system development, ideally in radar applications

  • In-depth knowledge of RF PCB development, including design, layout, and material selection

  • Proficient in using RF simulation and design tools such as CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, or similar

  • Confident in using test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and oscilloscopes

  • Experience in signal processing for radar applications is a plus

  • Knowledge in phased-array antenna design is advantageous

  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach

  • Strong team and communication skills in English, German as a plus.
