Senior Sales Manager Governmental (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Governmental Sales & Support Manager to strengthen our team. In this role, you will drive sales and business development in UAV hardware, software, AI, and software-defined defense technologies, while also providing technical logistic support for military aircraft to ensure continuous airworthiness. You will be responsible for navigating procurement processes within national authorities, including BAAINBw and the German Armed Forces.


What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities in UAV and defense technologies across German and European markets.

  • Technical Logistic Support: Ensure operational readiness and continuous airworthiness of military aircraft through expert logistic support.

  • Procurement Management: Navigate and oversee procurement processes within BAAINBw and the German Armed Forces, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Service & Material Management: Oversee service level agreements (SLAs), manage material processes, and implement military material concepts to optimize supply chain efficiency.

  • NATO Codification: Apply expertise in NATO codification systems for accurate identification and classification of military materials.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major OEMs, to foster collaboration and drive business growth.

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitors.

  • Proposal & Contract Management: Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and contract models, including In-Service Support agreements and SLAs.

  • Project Execution & Stakeholder Engagement: Oversee sales and business development projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales performance and business development activities to senior management.

What you bring to the team:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.

  • You bring at least 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development, ideally in UAV, AI, software-defined defense, and military procurement. Experience with BAAINBw and Bundeswehr procurement processes is highly desirable.

  • You have a strong understanding of military systems, including UAV hardware, software, and AI-driven solutions.

  • You are experienced in technical-logistical support for military aircraft and defense systems.

  • You have a proven track record in sales and business development.

  • You excel in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.

  • You can navigate complex procurement and regulatory environments with confidence.

  • You are skilled in project management, proposal writing, and contract modeling for In-Service Support agreements and SLAs.

  • You are fluent in German and English.
