Technical Purchaser (m/f/d)

As a Technical Buyer / Supplier Development (m/f/d) you will be part of our supply chain team and be a key function in supplier selection, procurement and ensuring the availability of goods in production. With our world-class team, currently 6 team members, you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.

You will work closely with stakeholders from production planning, fulfillment and product management. The main focus will be on making the right goods available, in the right quantities and at the right time. With your excellence in supply chain management, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Coordinating the procurement of products and services in line with costs, deadlines and quality.
• Development and implementation of monitoring measures for the sustainable optimization of process and product quality at suppliers, as well as ensuring the availability of parts and delivery schedules.
• Responsibility for the approval, assessment and further development of new and existing suppliers, including risk monitoring in accordance with EN9100.
• Carrying out supplier audits and implementing necessary supplier development measures. 
• Further development and automation of purchasing processes. 
• Managing and resolving escalation cases.
• Independent processing of complaints and follow-up of quality measures.
• Independent identification of new suppliers and their onboarding.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a degree/completed training in supply chain management, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.

• You already have at least 3 years of professional experience in supply chain management, supplier development or material procurement.

• You can manage technical projects independently and in a structured manner and lead them to the agreed target together with your suppliers.

• Your open, communicative, very friendly and competent manner makes it easy for you to be seen as an internal expert.

• You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility forward independently.

• Communication in English and German is a matter of course for you.
