Financial Controller (m/f/d)

As Financial Controller, you will be a significant key function of our Finance team, responsible for international correspondence with subsidiaries, overseeing and managing all aspects of the Group's financial reporting, as well as optimizing financial processes. Together with our world-class finance team, you will play a central role in the company's strategic planning to push the boundaries of drone technology.

You will work closely with stakeholders across all disciplines to ensure strategic decision making through accurate and timely financial information. With this smooth financial process, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Financial budgeting:Coordinate the monthly & annual (rolling) budgeting process across subsidiaries within our planning tool. Develop strategic insights to support decision making and resource allocation.

• Cash flow management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments. You optimize cash flow strategies to improve financial stability and efficiency.

• Internal controls and compliance: Establish and enforces internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. They ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, conducting regular audits as necessary.

• Cost management: Analyze and control costs based on insight received from data screening, implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. They provide detailed cost reports to management, identifying areas for financial improvement.

• Project management: You will identify opportunities to streamline financial operations processes, improve efficiency and increase the accuracy of financial data independently to initiate, lead and monitor projects. The subsidiary-wide ERP system as the single-data-source must be optimized continuously.

• Stakeholder communication: Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with auditors, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.

• Treasury: Manage the company’s financial result by allocating capital effectively into financial assets while ensuring sufficient liquidity. Be responsible for cash management.

• Risk management: Evaluate strategic decisions from a risk perspective and provide insights into potential mitigation strategies. Be the sparring partner to C-Level on driving the company’s success.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a degree in business administration, finance or a similar field.

• You have at least 1 year of experience in financial management, ideally in the aerospace or technology industry.

• You bring in-depth knowledge of financial processes, budgeting and financial analysis.

• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in English and German.

• You are hands-on and driven teamplayer.
