EFT Mobility is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) to work on its products. You will work closely with the Software Development team and will play a crucial role in our product development. The main focus is on developing embedded software for controlling electric powertrain components, as well as testing and debugging these systems. With your work, you will ensure the efficient, high-quality delivery of the controller software.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Design of Firmware for Controllers in C/C++

  • Development of Software for Testing, Validation, and Automation in C/C++ and Python

  • Implementation of hardware drivers and basic software components for controller software in electric powertrain components (especially battery management)

  • Development of Software for Modelling in Matlab/Simulink and Python

  • Coordinating requirements, considering safety standards, and designing and testing the solution within the team

  • Improvement of existing Continuous Build, Integration, Test and Release infrastructure


What you bring to the team:

  • Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany.

  • This is an entry-level position.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience in software development in C/C++ and Python (Matlab as a plus).

  • Experience with different MCUs is beneficial (STM32, Texas Instruments, Infineon, etc.).

  • Structured approach to work.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English (German as a plus).
