Supervisor for Test and Inspection Stations (m/f/d)

As a Supervisor for Test and Inspection Stations, you will play a key role in our team, supporting the production of our technically advanced UAS. Working with our world-class team of 14 members, you will help push the boundaries of drone technology. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from System, Testing, and Prototyping departments to ensure that our products are delivered to our customers on time and with the highest quality. By doing so, you support Quantum Systems in its mission to set the standard for airborne data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• You are responsible for production-related inspections in the Testing department.

• You independently manage our test stations for motor and servo testing.

• You conduct visual inspections of our drones and check their surface quality.

• Acting as a test pilot, you carry out initial test flights, depending on weather conditions.

• You are accountable for the quality of manufactured products.

• You oversee inspections, tests, error analysis, and repairs during production.

• You ensure each inspection step is documented to maintain traceability of components and products.

• You continuously improve processes in the production area and maintain cleanliness and order in your work environment.

• You support the development and updating of work and inspection instructions.

What you bring to the team:

• You have completed training in electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or a comparable field.

• You already have professional experience in quality inspection.

• You possess good to excellent knowledge of electronics, wiring, and working with fiber-reinforced composites.

• You have an interest in model flying and construction, ideally bringing basic programming skills with you.

• You are highly self-motivated and independently drive progress in your area of responsibility.

• With your open, communicative, friendly, and competent demeanor, you easily establish yourself as an internal expert recognized by your colleagues.
