UAV repair specialist (m/f/d)

As UAV repair specialist you will be a key function of our Repair & Maintenance team, ensuring the department is up to date with repairs and documentation. With our world-class team, currently 4 team members, you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.
You will work closely with stakeholders from R&D, Production, Product Engineering, Testing and Prototyping to act as a point of contact and interface. With your craftsmanship and eye for detail, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Carrying out maintenance and repair work on UAVs.

• Inspection, fault analysis and troubleshooting of (fine) mechanical and electronic components.

• Preparation of accompanying repair and maintenance reports.

• Creation and optimization of instructions for maintenance and repair procedures.

• Working closely with the research and development team to develop and optimize test procedures for the reconditioning of electronic components.

• Optimizing and updating existing documentation and creating new technical documentation, including maintenance instructions, repair instructions and user manuals.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a degree/completed training in the field of aeronautical engineering, electronics or a comparable qualification.

• You already have some experience in model making.

• You love to work in a structured manner and are also interested in the topic of drones or aerospace in your private life.

• You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility forward independently.

• Your open, communicative, friendly and competent manner makes it easy for you to be seen as an internal expert by your colleagues.

• Communication in English is a matter of course for you.
