Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company for unmanned systems across air, land and maritime domains. We develop and scale integrated hardware, software and AI-powered solutions for mission-critical operations. By combining autonomous platforms with intelligent software and AI, Quantum Systems enables customers to operate, understand and act across domains.

We are looking for a C-UAS Training & Demo Expert who combines practical hardware skills with the ability to deliver clear customer training and professional demonstrations.

As part of our Training & Demo team, you prepare equipment and deliver customer training and demonstrations for C-UAS systems. You help customers understand system capabilities and limitations, and guide them in safe, responsible operation.

You enjoy working directly with hardware, from assembly and functional checks to troubleshooting. You turn technical content into clear training materials and practical exercises, assess participants’ progress and document results. Working closely with Sales, Engineering and Product teams, you share customer feedback and recurring technical issues to improve training and product usability. You support international customer engagements and ensure that every activity follows applicable safety requirements and local regulations.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations, incorporating your prior mission experience to facilitate use cases for future customers (which range from operator up to ministerial decision-maker level).

  • Conduct hands-on flight training sessions for our C-UAS products.

  • Ensuring completion and function of C-UAS equipment before traveling to locations worldwide to conduct product demonstrations and/or training.

  • Creation of engaging instructional materials, including manuals, presentations, and practical exercises. Maintaining this training documentation in German and/or English.

  • Developing realistic C-UAS training scenarios reflecting current UAV and FPV threats and use structured debriefings to improve future training.

  • Coordinate training and demonstration activities with customer teams, site operators and relevant authorities to ensure safe and compliant execution.

  • Guide pre-flight checks, flight planning, post-flight and post-processing procedures.

  • Assess trainee performance during both theoretical and practical training sessions. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to enhance skills and proficiency.

What you bring to the team:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in UAS operations, flight testing or field engineering in defence, aerospace or RC.

  • You hold valid drone pilot qualifications for A1/A2/A3 and STS 1 & STS 2 or are willing to obtain them quickly.

  • You have hands-on FPV piloting experience and understand FPV UAV capabilities, limitations and flight characteristics. Experience with turbine-powered model aircraft is a plus.

  • You understand C-UAS detection, identification, tracking and threat assessment, and can explain system capabilities and limitations in an operational context. Relevant C-UAS experience or a military, police or security background is an advantage.

  • You have a strong understanding of flight operations, safety procedures and airspace regulations (EASA or equivalent).

  • You have practical experience with one or more of the following: radio systems, antennas, telemetry, GNSS, radar, video links or long-range communication.

  • You can independently plan, deliver and evaluate customer training in German and/or English.

  • You explain technical topics clearly, give constructive feedback and present confidently to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • You are willing to travel worldwide and work outdoors in demanding conditions, while consistently following safety procedures and local regulations.

  • A valid Class B driving licence is required.
