As Lead of Drone Port Development, you will manage the development of the Drone Port, an important new product in the Quantum Systems portfolio that will automate the operation of our civil and military drones and make them available 24/7. You will lead a young and talented team of hardware and software developers and work with stakeholders from sales, product management, research and development and management to bring our Drone Port to market in a short time. With your leadership experience, your in-depth knowledge of robotics hardware and software, and your commitment to delivering on time, cost and quality, you will make an important contribution to establishing Quantum Systems as Europe's best and largest area intelligence provider.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Leading and coaching a small, interdisciplinary team working on the development of software and hardware for the Drone Port.
Fostering an open, collaborative, and respectful team culture that supports creativity and continuous improvement.
Introducing and advancing agile work methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to enhance the team's efficiency and flexibility.
Taking responsibility for the quality of technical solutions, architecture, and product-related software.
Collaborating closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other departments to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion within the agreed schedules and budget constraints.
What you bring to the team:
A degree in natural sciences, computer science, or engineering.
Several years of experience leading agile development teams (ideally in a technical environment).
Proven success in managing and completing large-scale technological projects and transitioning them into products.
Innovative, creative, and personally interested in drones or aerospace.
Highly self-motivated, able to drive your area of responsibility independently, and willing to go the extra mile.
Your open, communicative, friendly, and competent demeanor enables you to be recognized as a leader at eye level by your colleagues.
Fluent communication in English and German is second nature to you.
