Head of Finance & Administration (m/f/d) Quantum Frontline Industries

As Head of Finance & Administration at Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI), you are responsible for managing, developing, and scaling all commercial functions within our joint venture. You ensure that financial, administrative, and governance-related processes are efficiently established, operate reliably, and provide the foundation for sustainable growth.

In close collaboration with senior management as well as the production, procurement, and HR teams, you bring structure, clarity, and control to key business processes. You act as a central sparring partner for economic and financial matters, supporting both the operational and strategic development of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the commercial management and further development of financial and administrative structures within the joint venture

• Ensuring effective liquidity planning, budgeting, and cost controlling in a dynamic, high-growth environment

• Managing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) in cooperation with tax advisors and auditors

• Establishing and continuously improving transparent management and shareholder reporting

• Supporting executive management with financial analyses, decision-making materials, and strategic initiatives

• Close collaboration with HR, procurement, and production to align and further develop budgets, processes, and systems

• Responsibility for the commercial management of HR processes, including budget planning, payroll, and compliance

• Ensuring and advancing compliance and governance structures, taking into account regulatory and security requirements

• Commercial oversight of contract management and acting as the interface with external legal, tax, and professional advisors

• Responsibility for the management and continuous improvement of ERP systems, ensuring data quality and process consistency

• Ensuring structured communication with shareholders, service providers, and authorities, as well as managing key interfaces within the joint venture

What you bring to the team:

• Several years of experience in a commercial leadership role, ideally as Head of Finance, Finance Lead, or in a comparable position within a dynamic or high-growth environment

• Solid experience in Finance & Controlling, including liquidity management, budgeting, and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)

• Proven track record in building, developing, and scaling commercial structures, processes, and reporting systems

• Strong analytical and structuring capabilities combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented, and hands-on working style

• Experience working with tax advisors, auditors, and external legal and professional advisors

• Confident handling of regulatory requirements and a solid understanding of compliance and governance structures, ideally within a regulated environment

• Experience in managing and further developing ERP systems, along with a strong awareness of data quality and process consistency

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and advise senior management and shareholders at eye level

• High level of ownership, reliability, and assertiveness in a fast-paced and demanding environment

• Ability to present complex matters in a clear and structured way and derive well-founded decisions

• Excellent communication skills in German and English

• Willingness to take responsibility in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
