As Head of Industrialization (m/f/d), you are responsible for defining and executing our industrialization strategy, enabling scalable, future-ready production systems and sustainable company growth. You translate product innovations into industrial-ready, robust, and scalable manufacturing and lifecycle solutions.

As the system owner for industrialization- and lifecycle-related capabilities, you shape the structural, technological, and process foundation for stable serial production. Beyond individual projects, you establish long-term concepts, standards, and architectures that enable efficient ramp-ups, automation, and strong lifecycle performance.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Competence Center & R&M
Lead and develop the Industrialization Competence Center as well as Repair & Maintenance (R&M) as distinct but closely connected capabilities within the production organization.

  • Pre-Series & Ramp-Up
Own pre-series production, ramp-ups, and the structured handover into serial production.

  • R&M as Lifecycle & Business Capability
Strategically evolve Repair & Maintenance (R&M) and continuously strengthen it as a scalable lifecycle and business capability.

  • Industrial Readiness
In close collaboration with R&D, ensure manufacturability, serviceability, and overall industrial readiness of our products.

  • Industrialization Strategy
Define and own the industrialization strategy, including production concepts and scalable manufacturing structures.

  • Production Systems
Develop and implement sustainable, automated, and scalable production systems.

  • New Technologies & Industry 4.0
Drive the introduction of new manufacturing technologies, automation solutions, and Industry 4.0 approaches.

  • Standards & Architectures
Develop standards, processes, and production architectures that enable long-term growth and scalability.

  • KPIs & Continuous Improvement
Continuously improve industrialization and R&M KPIs with a focus on scalability, robustness, sustainability, and economic impact.

What you bring to the team:

  • A degree in engineering or a comparable technical qualification.

  • Proven experience in industrialization, production development, manufacturing engineering, or R&M-related environments.

  • Strong understanding of scalable production and service systems across the entire product lifecycle.

  • Experience with automation, digitalization, or Industry 4.0 technologies, with the ability to translate them pragmatically into solutions, standards, and systems.

  • Comfort working in early product phases (prototype/pre-series), structured in dynamic environments, and solution-oriented even in the face of setbacks.

  • A strong combination of strategic, conceptual thinking and execution capability.

  • Experience collaborating across R&D, Quality, and operational production teams.

  • Ability to structure complex topics, derive long-term solutions, and drive sustainable implementation.

  • A hands-on mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments where not everything is perfectly predefined.
