Intern Accounting (m/f/d)

As an Accounting & Finance Intern, you will support our finance team in day‑to‑day operations and gain valuable insights into the accounting processes of an internationally active company. You will assist with ongoing bookkeeping tasks, invoices, reporting, and preparations for monthly and annual closings, allowing you to apply and deepen your academic knowledge through hands‑on experience.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Support with day-to-day accounting activities (accounts receivable and accounts payable)

• Assist with reviewing, coding, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices

• Support with account reconciliations and the clarification of open items

• Assist in the preparation of payment runs

• Support in the preparation of monthly reports and analyses

• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements (HGB, if applicable IFRS)

• Support with the documentation of international business transactions (EU / non-EU countries)

• General administrative tasks within the finance department

What you bring to the team:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field with a focus on Accounting/Finance

• Initial practical experience in accounting is an advantage but not mandatory

• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles (HGB)

• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers

• Structured and detail‑oriented working style

• Very good German and good English skills

• You are available for a continuous period of six months
