Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d)

As an Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d), you will take on a key role in our finance team. You will be responsible for ongoing accounts payable processes, ensure smooth payment transactions, and support monthly and annual financial statements.

In our world-class finance team with currently 8 colleagues, you will make a significant contribution to keeping our financial processes stable, efficient, and transparent. You will work closely with the Controlling and Operations departments and act as a reliable point of contact for our internal and external stakeholders.

With your contribution, you will support Quantum Systems in redefining the standard for aerial data collection solutions using unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day-to-Day Mission:

• Review, account assignment, and posting of incoming invoices

• Clarification of discrepancies and coordination with internal departments as well as suppliers

• Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts payable

• Execution of payment transactions and support in cash management

• Assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (and IFRS, if applicable)

• Contribution to process optimization in accounts payable

What you bring to the team:

• Completed commercial training (e.g., Industrial Clerk, Tax Clerk) or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in accounts payable

• Confident use of common accounting software as well as MS Office, especially Excel

• Knowledge of German commercial and tax law (HGB, UStG)

• Structured, accurate, and independent working style

• Strong team spirit and communication skills
