Logistics Technician (m/f/d) - UGV

As a Logistics Technician UGV (m/f/d), you will be part of our logistics team for unmanned ground systems at our Göppingen site. You will be responsible for goods receipt, warehousing, material picking, and material provisioning for our LAND production operations, playing a key role in enabling the transition from prototype manufacturing to a robust, repeatable, and scalable serial production environment.

You will work hands-on in the warehouse and on the production line while collaborating closely with Production, Procurement, Industrialization, and Quality teams. In this role, you will ensure full traceability, timely material availability, and actively contribute shop floor feedback to the continuous improvement of material flow processes.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Receive incoming goods, perform incoming goods inspections, and ensure proper storage of components, assemblies, and payloads.

• Pick and kit materials for assembly workstations in accordance with bills of materials (BOMs) and production schedules.

• Maintain inventory data in ERP/MES systems, conduct stock counts, and perform inventory adjustments as required.

• Ensure material availability for validation builds and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) ramp-up activities in close coordination with Production Planning.

• Proactively identify and escalate missing, damaged, or non-conforming parts in collaboration with Production and Quality teams.

• Coordinate internal transportation activities as well as shipping and packaging processes, including export documentation.

• Manage returns, repair parts, and spare parts inventory.

• Support the optimization of warehouse layouts, material flows, and Kanban/pull systems.

• Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, Industrialization, and Quality to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace while complying with all relevant site regulations and hazardous goods requirements.

What you bring to the team:

• Completed vocational training in logistics, such as Warehouse Logistics Specialist, Freight Forwarding and Logistics

• Services Specialist, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, several years of relevant logistics experience.

• Experience working with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as SAP or Odoo, as well as familiarity with bills of materials and material planning processes.

• Forklift certification and/or experience operating industrial trucks and material handling equipment is an advantage.

• Structured, independent, and reliable working style with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

• High attention to quality in material inspection, inventory management, and documentation.

• Open and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Production, Procurement, and Quality teams.

• Good German language skills; English proficiency is advantageous for collaboration in an international environment.

• Ideally, experience with hazardous goods logistics, battery logistics, and/or export control procedures.
