Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) is a newly established German-Ukrainian defence joint venture between Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics, created under the Build with Ukraine initiative. For the first time, Ukrainian drones will be manufactured on an industrial scale in Europe, combining Ukrainian battlefield-proven technology with German industrial automation to create a new model of cross-border defence co-production: the German Model.

As the Manufacturing Manager at Quantum Frontline Industries, you will play a critical leadership role in building, scaling, and optimizing our manufacturing operations for advanced UAV systems. You will oversee daily production activities, develop efficient workflows, and ensure that our multicopter and electronic systems are produced to the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Your work will directly support our mission of providing democratic nations — including Ukrainian defense forces — with dependable, high‑performance drone technologies that protect freedom and shared values.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Build and continuously optimize production processes to support scaling, efficiency, and reliability.

  • Ensure high-quality execution of production steps, meeting output, safety, and performance targets.

  • Collaborate closely with Quality Control, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Flight Test teams to ensure smooth cross-functional operations.

  • Implement production schedules, monitor KPIs, and secure on-time delivery of manufactured units.

  • Identify bottlenecks, introduce corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/5S/Kaizen).

  • Oversee training and development of technicians and production staff.

  • Maintain accurate documentation related to production processes, performance, and traceability.

  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and help industrialize future UAV product lines.

What you bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in electronics, UAVs, robotics, or high-tech assembly environments.

  • Proven experience managing production teams and working in fast-paced, growing manufacturing organizations.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflow organization, efficiency strategies, and resource planning.

  • Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage complex operations, make data-driven decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • Solid technical understanding of electronics or mechanical systems is a strong advantage.

  • High level of responsibility, ownership, and leadership maturity.

  • Technical education in engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or related fields.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience in scaling production from prototype to mass manufacturing.

    • Ukrainian language as a significant plus
