As a Mechanical Worker, you will play a key role in building and assembling high-quality maritime systems that support our mission to become a benchmark in autonomous maritime technology. Based on Quantum Systems' career messaging and maritime activities, the role focuses on precision, teamwork, and hands-on manufacturing excellence.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Assemble, install, and integrate mechanical components and subassemblies for maritime platforms.
Perform fitting, mounting, drilling, bonding, and finishing work on structural components.
Support the manufacturing and integration of unmanned surface and underwater systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
Conduct quality inspections and functional checks throughout the production process.
Collaborate closely with engineers, production staff, and quality teams to ensure high manufacturing standards.
Identify and report manufacturing issues while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
Support prototype builds, testing activities, and product improvements when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
What you bring to the team:
Completed vocational training in a technical profession such as mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, mechatronics, boatbuilding, or a comparable field.
Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or production environments.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Quality-focused mindset and a structured way of working.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented personality.
Good German language skills; basic English skills are an advantage.
Experience with composite materials, marine manufacturing, or boatbuilding is highly desirable.
