Product Owner (AI)

As a Product Owner AI, you will have a unique opportunity to create additional value and provide decisive capabilities to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine by implementing the latest AI approaches. This is a full-time office job. Candidates must be located in Kyiv

What is your Day to Day Mission 

• User Feedback & Requirements: Collect feedback from end-users, customers, and key stakeholders; transform these insights into concrete requirements aimed at solving critical problems or significantly increasing the efficiency of existing products. 

• Strategy Formulation: Translate gathered requirements, best practices, and competitor analysis into an AI development strategy aligned with the Company’s strategic goals. 

• Backlog Management: Maintain a prioritized backlog of features and user stories. Regularly update and refine the backlog based on feedback and evolving business requirements. 

• Team Collaboration: Conduct regular grooming sessions and create corresponding Jira issues for development teams. 

• Priority Coordination: Coordinate development priorities with other Product Management team members, ensure the relevance of key performance indicators (KPIs). 

• Risk & Ethics Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with developed products. Stay informed about ethical considerations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices in development. 

• • Cross-functional Cooperation: Collaborate with QA, engineering, and data science teams to define testing criteria for features. Ensure the quality and reliability of solutions through rigorous testing and validation. 

What you bring to the team 

• 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner role. 

• AI Expertise: 3+ years of practical experience in the AI domain. 

• Agile Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Agile product development in multidisciplinary engineering teams. 

• Technical Toolset: Deep familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and product backlog management. 

• Validation & Testing: Experience participating in or managing product/system validation and flight testing processes. 

• Problem-solving & Resilience: Solid problem-solving skills and resilience working in high-uncertainty, high-impact environments. 

• Communication: Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between engineering, leadership, and operations. 

• UAV Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of UAV system architecture, including airframe design, propulsion, avionics, and control systems. 

• Languages: Fluency in English.
