As a Production Planner (m/f/d), you will be a key part of our Production & Assembly Team, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. Together with our World-Class Team, you will play an empowering role in delivering systems for one of Romania's most significant defense procurement programs, with drone assembly taking place entirely in Romania under the European SAFE initiative. You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure efficient production planning and execution. As Quantum Systems continues to expand its industrial footprint in Romania, your mission will be to synchronize material availability, production capacity, and customer demand while ensuring the on-time delivery of mission-critical systems deployed across Europe and Ukraine.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and production workflows.

  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process specifications.

  • Support the industrialization and integration of new products into production.

  • Collaborate with Design and Development teams to ensure manufacturability of products and assemblies.

  • Work with CAD systems and technical drawings to define production requirements and process improvements.

  • Analyze production data and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Optimize production layouts, material flows, and workstation designs to increase efficiency.

  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, and productivity.

  • Collaborate with Quality teams to ensure compliance with manufacturing and product standards.

  • Support production ramp-ups and capacity expansion activities.

  • Participate in root cause analyses and implementation of corrective actions.


What you bring to the team:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, process engineering, or production optimization.

  • Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing workflows.

  • Experience working with CAD software and technical documentation.

  • Knowledge of production planning, assembly processes, and manufacturing technologies.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Structured and hands-on working style with a strong focus on execution.

  • Professional fluency in English.

  • Romanian language
