Projectmanager Operational Excellence (m/f/d)

As a Project Manager Operational Excellence (m/f/d) in the drone industry, you will actively shape the continuous improvement of our business processes and drive data-driven optimization initiatives across the entire value chain. With your expertise in project management, lean methodologies, and process analysis, you will enable sustainable efficiency gains, support digital transformation, and ensure our competitiveness in the context of Industry 4.0.

You will report directly to the Team Lead Operational Excellence and work closely with national and international stakeholders from development, production, procurement, and quality. From day one, you will take ownership of your own projects and have the freedom to optimize structures, introduce new standards, and strengthen the data foundation for fact-based decision-making.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Plan, manage, and implement Operational Excellence and Lean projects across the value chain

• Analyze, model, and optimize business processes to increase efficiency, quality, and transparency

• Introduce and further develop Lean principles (e.g., value stream mapping, standardization, Kaizen) in combination with digital tools

• Use data analytics, KPIs, and process mining to identify improvement potential and support fact-based decision-making

• Contribute to the digitalization and automation of processes in line with Industry 4.0

• Collaborate closely with development, production, quality, and procurement to implement improvement initiatives

• Design and further develop standards, methods, and tools for business process and project management

• Train and empower colleagues to strengthen Lean and data capabilities across the organization

What you bring to the team:

• A degree in a technical or business-related field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Analytics) or a comparable qualification

• Experience in project management, business process management, or Lean management—ideally within the aerospace or high-tech industry

• Solid knowledge of optimization methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S) and confident use of project management tools

• Strong affinity for data and digital technologies; experience with BI tools, process mining, or ERP/MES systems is a plus

• Strong analytical skills, a structured working style, and a high standard of quality

• Communication and change management skills: the ability to engage stakeholders, involve teams, and sustainably anchor change
