As a Risk Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact our business objectives, operations, and long-term growth. You will be embedded into the corporate Resilience and Security department, working closely with stakeholders across  Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Executive Management, you will help strengthen our enterprise-wide risk management framework and support informed decision-making in a rapidly evolving environment. Your work will contribute directly to enhancing organizational resilience, safeguarding critical business processes, and enabling sustainable growth. 

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework in alignment with ISO 31000 principles, KonTraG, and best practices. 

  • Identify, assess, and monitor strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and security-related risks across the organization. 

  • Conduct risk assessments and facilitate risk workshops with business units and key stakeholders. 

  • Maintain and continuously improve the corporate risk register, including risk tracking, reporting, and mitigation planning. 

  • Identify, assign and collaborate with risk owners to develop and implement effective risk treatment and control measures. 

  • Administrate the insurance management for all entities within the group, report relevant changes to insurance brokers, adapt and prolong contracts. Identify new need for insurances in the wake of new operational fields and adapt the insurance portfolio accordingly.  

  • Prepare regular risk reports, dashboards, and management presentations to support decision-making at all organizational levels. 

  • Monitor internal and external developments that may introduce new risks or impact existing risk profiles. 

  • Support business continuity, crisis management, compliance, and security initiatives through integrated risk management practices. 

  • Contribute to the development of risk management policies, methodologies, governance structures, and awareness programs. 

  • Support audits, certifications, and regulatory requirements related to risk management and organizational resilience. 


What you bring to the team:

  • A degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Security Management, Engineering, Finance, or a comparable qualification. 

  • Several years of professional experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), risk governance, corporate security, compliance, audit, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience applying risk management frameworks and methodologies, particularly ISO 31000 and KonTraG. 

  • Strong understanding of risk identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring, and reporting processes within a corporate environment. 

  • Experience conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments, facilitating risk workshops, and maintaining risk registers. 

  • Knowledge of operational resilience, business continuity, internal controls, and governance frameworks is highly desirable. 

  • Ability to develop risk reporting structures, dashboards, and management presentations that support informed decision-making. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex risks and translate findings into actionable recommendations. 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across different business functions and management levels. 

  • A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style with strong attention to detail. 

  • High levels of integrity, reliability, and professional judgment when handling sensitive business information. 

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, technology, critical infrastructure, or other highly regulated industries is considered an advantage. 

  • Professional certifications such as ISO 31000 Risk Manager, CRMA, PMI-RMP, or similar qualifications are a plus. 

  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are highly desirable.
