As an Account Manager Maritime, you will be part of the Bundeswehr Key Account team, working to strategically develop and grow our partnership with the Bundeswehr & NATO, with a specific focus on the German Navy and the maritime domain. As part of this team, your mission is to drive opportunities, gather input on solutions, engage customers about their priorities, and support Quantum System´s strategic goals as an unmanned systems powerhouse in the maritime domain. 

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Manage and grow opportunities within the Bundeswehr & NATO context, ensuring strong and trusted relationships.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop campaigns & strategies to expand Quantum Systems’ footprint within the maritime ecosystem.

  • Act as a point of contact for Navy stakeholders and coordinate internal resources to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Prepare and lead account reviews, presentations, and strategic planning sessions.

  • Monitor contract performance, and customer satisfaction, ensuring timely issue resolution.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Program and Operations) to align on customer needs and deliverables.

  • Stay informed on procurement processes, organizational structures, and relevant defence market trends.


Your profile:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, economics, political science, engineering or a related field. Equivalent professional experience is also welcome.

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales—ideally in the defense, aerospace, or technology sectors.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English (C1/C2) – both written and spoken.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong familiarity with the German Navy structures, capability planning & procurement processes, and the defence industry ecosystem.

  • Interest in technology, defence, and geopolitics.
