As a Senior IT Administrator (m/f/d), you will be a key part of our Production & Assembly Team, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. Together with our World-Class Team, you will play an empowering role in delivering systems for one of Romania's most significant defense procurement programs, with drone assembly taking place entirely in Romania under the European SAFE initiative. The Romanian production site will not only support local defense programs but will also contribute to fulfilling customer orders across Europe and support the delivery of mission-critical systems for Ukraine, reinforcing Quantum Systems' commitment to strengthening European security and defense capabilities. You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to ensure excellence in production and delivery. As Quantum Systems continues to expand its industrial footprint in Romania, your mission will be to help build mission-critical technology trusted by NATO forces and deployed in demanding operational environments across Europe and Ukraine while pushing the boundaries of drone technologies.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Operate and improve Windows and Linux server environments.

  • Support Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.

  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Jamf, and Hyper-V.

  • Configure and troubleshoot networks, firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, and VPNs.

  • Automate IT processes using PowerShell and scripting.

  • Strengthen infrastructure security through system hardening, access management, patching, and monitoring.

  • Secure and maintain ground control stations and other critical systems.

  • Resolve complex infrastructure, hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support.

  • Evaluate and implement new infrastructure solutions.

  • Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with international IT teams.


What you bring to the team:

  • Degree or professional qualification in computer science, IT, or system integration.

  • Several years of experience in IT administration or infrastructure operations.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune.

  • Experience with Hyper-V, PowerShell, networking, and IT security.

  • Experience with macOS and Jamf is an advantage.

  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.

  • Strong communication skills and professional fluency in English.

  • Romanian language skills are an advantage.
