The Company:

At EFT Mobility AG, we are redefining the future of clean, high-performance autonomous flight with next-generation electric power systems tailored for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Founded in 2019 in Munich by industry veterans from Tesla, BMW, and Siemens, our agile tech company merges deep-rooted expertise with a bold vision for innovation.

We develop batteries, chargers, and power distribution systems, specifically optimized for demanding UAV applications. Our focus is on delivering solutions that achieve industry-leading flight times, power delivery, and reliability. Operating in a fast-paced, startup environment, our highly skilled team thrives on short development cycles, turning groundbreaking ideas into deployed solutions.

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead the integration of our advanced battery and charging systems into diverse customer platforms. This pivotal role requires a hands-on engineer who can bridge the gap between software, electronics, and mechanical design to ensure seamless functionality from early prototypes to high-volume production.

You will be instrumental in ensuring our products not only meet but exceed performance expectations by establishing robust integration processes and actively improving our systems based on real-world operational data. You will own key customer-facing deliverables, including documentation and diagnostic tools, and will be a primary technical point of contact for external partners.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • System Integration: Lead the integration of our battery and charging systems across software, electronic hardware, and mechanical designs within diverse customer UAV platforms.

  • Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal engineering teams (software, hardware, mechanical, validation) during the integration, testing, and validation phases for both prototype and series products.

  • Field Optimization & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in the field, working directly with customers to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

  • Product Improvement: Translate valuable feedback from field operations and customer interactions into actionable recommendations for our system and hardware development teams to continuously enhance our products.

  • Early-Stage Contribution: Be a key contributor to integration efforts for early-stage prototypes, helping define best practices and ensuring scalability for future production.

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience: Proven background in systems integration, particularly involving software, electronics, and mechanical components.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings. You should be proficient in understanding C-code for embedded systems, familiar with 3D CAD tools, and have a solid understanding of digital communication protocols.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for diagnosing complex issues in real-world scenarios.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external customers.

  • Customer Focus: A strong customer-centric approach, dedicated to providing outstanding support and building lasting relationships.

  • Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and take initiative in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable adapting to evolving priorities and contributing across various stages of product development.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer support and field troubleshooting.

Your Benefits:

  • Direct impact: See your contributions rapidly integrated from cutting-edge research into industrialized products, flying in the field within short development cycles.

  • Culture & Environment: A dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative startup environment with flat hierarchies, efficient collaboration, and a strong emphasis on continuous learning opportunities.

  • Work-life Balance: We offer flexible work schedules, and 30 days of paid vacation each year to support your personal and professional life.

  • Lunch Benefit: We promote healthy eating and the well-being of our employees with a monthly lunch budget.

  • Mobility Benefit: With our mobility budget, we pay your “Germany Ticket” for work or personal use monthly.

  • Health & Wellness: We support your physical well-being with a company-subsidized eGym Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms and sports facilities.

  • Language Courses: German isn’t your mother tongue? We sponsor German courses for you to quickly learn and integrate even more.
