As a Team Lead Production you will take on the operational and disciplinary leadership of a production team in the field of unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) and robotic launch platforms. You will be responsible for the system assembly and production-accompanying tests, ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing. In doing so, you will continuously develop production processes and support new products from prototype to series production. In your role, you will work closely with your team, engineering, procurement, sales, and quality control, and actively drive the expansion of production capacities.

You will report directly to the Head of Production and contribute to shaping the strategic direction of your department as part of the company-wide OKR process.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Lead and organize your production team with both technical and disciplinary responsibility

  • Manage daily production operations in assembly and commissioning to ensure smooth and timely manufacturing

  • Plan personnel deployment, coordinate production flows, and build additional capacity for scaling

  • Develop and implement future-proof, integrated production processes focused on scalability and automation

  • Take responsibility for in-series quality control and ensure system quality for both product components – UAV and robotic launch platform

  • Ensure effective interface management through close collaboration with production engineering, development, logistics, and procurement

  • Analyze production KPIs, derive improvement measures, and ensure achievement of targets regarding cycle time, productivity, and defect rate

  • Create, maintain, and standardize production-relevant documentation, work instructions, and checklists

  • Support the transition from pilot to series production and ensure a stable, repeatable production ramp-up

  • Co-shape and pursue strategic production goals within the framework of the company-wide OKR process through consistent operational implementation at team level

What you bring to the team:

  • A technical degree and experience in production, ideally in the aerospace industry or a comparable completed vocational training

  • Experience leading production teams in a technology-driven and dynamic environment – ideally in the field of complex systems such as UAVs, robotics, or special machinery

  • Strong organizational skills for structured planning, prioritization, and management of parallel production processes under changing requirements and fast-paced environments

  • Confident and adaptable leadership style to guide teams in an evolving, innovation-driven environment in a goal-oriented, transparent, and motivating manner

  • Clear, precise communication in interdisciplinary teams and a confident demeanor when dealing with interfaces

  • Motivation to improve processes, develop tools, and actively contribute and share know-how within the team
