Technical Support Manager - Tier 1 (m/f/d)

As a Technical Support Manager, you will be a key part of our Customer Support Team, providing first-line assistance to our clients on technical matters. Together with our world-class team, you will take on an empowering role: pushing the boundaries of drone technologies.

You will work closely with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, and Sales to ensure that customer inquiries are resolved quickly, independently, and effectively - using our knowledge base, manuals, and Jira ticket system for thorough documentation.

In addition to managing our shared support inbox, you will contribute to license management, oversee basic return processes, and conduct light log analyses (e.g., using the Reseller UI Manual) when needed.

Your mission? Deliver real impact by enabling our customers in their day-to-day operations through practical, solution-oriented support—making a lasting contribution to Quantum-Systems.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Handling technical support requests via our ticketing system (Jira), by email, and occasionally by phone – always with a focus on fast and sustainable solutions.

• Independently analyzing and resolving issues using our knowledge base and technical manuals.

• Coordinating basic RMA processes, including shipping and returns logistics.

• Clarifying license topics and user access issues in close collaboration with internal teams.

• Working closely with Customer Success Management, Sales, Fulfillment, Repair, R&D, and Training teams to ensure seamless support.

• Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket updates in Jira.

• Monitoring and managing the support mailbox to ensure timely and structured handling of incoming requests.

• Actively contributing to the development and maintenance of our knowledge base, including the creation of support articles.

• Participating in internal projects and process improvements to continuously enhance our support operations.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a technical background or experience in an IT/support environment.

• You have initial experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.

• You enjoy working in a structured way and have a personal interest in drones or aerospace topics.

• Due to your open, communicative, friendly and competent attitude, it is easy for you to be considered as an internal expert.

• You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility independently.

• Communication in English and German is a matter of course for you.
