EFT Mobility is looking for a Prototype Engineer who will work closely with stakeholders across the entire technical team to independently develop battery and charger prototypes and conduct testing both in-house and in the field. Your work in developing battery prototypes will support EFT Mobility in its mission of shaping the next generation of sustainable mobility.
We’re looking for someone with a strong problem-solving mindset and a versatile background in Prototyping. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player with strong communication skills.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Drive the development of one new concept or prototype, including testing, refining, and iterating rapidly.
Create and break prototypes to ensure robustness and functionality.
Design and develop structural components, manufacturing tools, and electronics.
Build and test prototypes, supporting small-series production.
Conduct real-world testing with customers, gathering feedback and evaluating the performance.
Collaborate effectively with local and global partner teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
Play an active role in shaping the engineering process chain for next-generation products.
What you bring to the team:
Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or relevant fields.
Strong understanding of prototyping, system validation, and debugging methodologies.
Extensive hands-on experience in modeling and rapid prototyping
Passion for batteries and cutting-edge energy storage technology
Advanced skills in CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred)
Experience with PCB design
Solid understanding of Embedded Code, including the ability to customize firmware for prototype functionality
A strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering innovative solutions
Very good battery and battery safety knowledge
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
German language skills are welcome.
