EFT Mobility is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer (m/f/d). You will work closely with the Electronics Design team and will play a crucial role in our product development. You will be responsible for the development, integration, and validation of new PCBAs and general electrical power system design and integration.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Electrical System Architecture, Design, and Validation of Electric Powertrains

  • Define systems and component requirements in collaboration with the project management team

  • Conducting full PCBA development cycle: Design, Coordinating Manufacturing Process, Bring up, Verification, and Validation of PCBs

  • Integration and validation of electrical distribution systems

  • Collaboration with our firmware engineering team across all processes

  • Schematic design for BMS and charger updates, including bug fixes

  • Schematic design for a combined testing platform charger-battery

  • Design of battery simulation testbench

  • Final PCB implementation with supervision of BMS and charger

  • Defining subsystem-level test plans

  • Following test plans


What you bring to the team:

  • Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany

  • This is an entry-level position

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields

  • Basic knowledge of electronics, components, and topologies such as first-order filters, operational amplifiers, and basic understanding of transistors

  • Ideally, knowledge in the use of electronics simulation software like Spice

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in PCB design is a must

  • Hands-on experience in an electronic lab environment is a must

  • Understanding of power electronics systems

  • Understanding of embedded firmware infrastructure

  • Understanding of the proper usage of essential laboratory equipment: Power supplies, Multimeter, Oscilloscope

  • Experience with compliance testing and EMC is a plus

  • A structured approach to work and project management experience

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

  • German language skills are welcome

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
