Join EFT Mobility at a pivotal time as we revolutionize the future of electric transport, focusing on cutting-edge Electric Powertrain (EFT) solutions for high-reliability applications, including UAV power systems. We are a fast-growing, dynamic company where every engineer plays a direct, hands-on role in bringing our innovative, safety-critical products to life. If you thrive on ensuring product quality and solving complex, real-world problems, we want you on our team.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Production, Fleet & Maintenance Engineer to bridge the gap between initial design and long-term product success. You will be the technical lead for our battery products once they hit the production line and the field. This role requires a detective mindset to solve field failures, a builder mindset to coordinate reworks, and a leader mindset to manage our battery fleet and manufacturing partnerships.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Engineering Change Management (ECM)

    • Collaborate with the Engineering team and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to analyze and validate hardware or process changes.

    • Provide on-site or remote monitoring of change implementations on the production line to ensure zero loss in quality.

    • Validation: Design and execute rigorous test plans to verify that changes meet safety and performance standards before customer shipment.

  • Failure Analysis & Root Cause Determination

    • Own the Field Return (RMA) process from technical arrival to resolution.

    • Perform deep-dive teardowns and data analysis to identify root causes of battery failures.

    • Coordinate with the design team to implement permanent fixes and ensure these improvements are integrated back into the active production line.

  • Fleet & Lifecycle Management

    • Manage the health and inventory of the internal battery fleet used for R&D, testing, and production support.

    • Sustainability: Define the criteria for battery end-of-life and coordinate the logistics for recycling programs.

    • Supervise and document the rework of internal battery packs to maintain peak testing capacity.

  • Field Campaign Coordination

    • Organize and lead large-scale rework or retrofit programs for battery sets already deployed in the field.

    • Develop specialized tooling or instructions for field technicians to ensure reworks are performed safely and consistently.

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience: 5+ years in battery systems, power electronics, or hardware product engineering.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS), failure analysis and hardware testing protocols.

  • Project Management: Ability to coordinate complex tasks between internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners.

  • Communication: Strong ability to translate technical failure data into actionable engineering changes.

Your Benefits:

  • Direct impact: See your contributions rapidly integrated from cutting-edge research into industrialized products, flying in the field within short development cycles.

  • Culture & Environment: A dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative startup environment with flat hierarchies, efficient collaboration, and a strong emphasis on continuous learning opportunities.

  • Work-life Balance: We offer flexible work schedules, and 30 days of paid vacation each year to support your personal and professional life.

  • Lunch Benefit: We promote healthy eating and the well-being of our employees with a monthly lunch budget.

  • Mobility Benefit: With our mobility budget, we pay your “Germany Ticket” for work or personal use monthly.

  • Health & Wellness: We support your physical well-being with a company-subsidized eGym Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms and sports facilities.

  • Language Courses: German isn’t your mother tongue? We sponsor German courses for you to quickly learn and integrate even more.
